Keeper’s Of The Lighthouse Project

Keepers of the Lighthouse is a collaboration between numerous community organizations, including Children’s Board of Oswego, NY, Inc., river's end bookstore, the H.L. White Maritime Museum, Harborfest, and the Children’s Museum of Oswego.

This event will celebrate the history of lighthouses, including Oswego’s West Pierhead Lighthouse, and the stories of their keepers.

open to the public, no registration required
This event will include art making activities appropriate for children of all ages and
will be led by Children’s Board volunteers.

Celebration of Writing
 at the H. Lee white Maritime Museum
 1 West First Street, Oswego

The writing and art portions of the project will be displayed for several weeks after the event.  

This project  is funded in part by a grant from the Richard S. Shineman Foundation, in part by a re-grant program administered by CNY Arts, and by Children’s Board of Oswego.
